CONDITIONS FOR USING THE NATIONAL POISONS INFORMATION CENTRE TELEPHONE NUMBER IN SECTION 1.4 OF THE SDS

You must provide the following before the NPIC telephone number may be used in Section 1.4 of your SDS:

  1. Send the full composition of each product to the NPIC electronically using the NPIC Product Information Form.  This information will be treated as confidential and will only be used to provide medical advice on the management of poisoning.  
  2. Complete, sign and return by post the Agreement and Indemnity.  
  3. Pay the NPIC annual retainer. 

When all of these steps have been completed you will be given the telephone number to use on your SDS.  Please note that this number will only be available between 8am and 10pm.
